Journey into the heart of the wetlands with a cruise on the mighty Mary River. This is an excellent opportunity to observe crocodiles, wetland birds and marvel at the majestic views across the vast Mary River floodplain. Drift down this expansive river system and take shelter in one of the billabongs to quietly observe or photograph nature at its very best.
Heading this tour is your experienced Wildman Wilderness Lodge guide, who will provide fascinating insights into the flora and fauna of the region. You will come away from this cruise with a new appreciation for the many animals that share these waterways and a series of photos that will always remind you of the beauty of Mother Nature.
This tour departs daily from the Wildman Wilderness Lodge travelling by air-conditioned bus for a
short 30-minute drive to the Mary River Rockhole, where your boat awaits you. The boat tour takes approximately 1.5 hours, whereupon you will be taken back to the lodge at its completion.
This tour is suitable for all ages.
